PineTune Developer exposes a loopback API and an Agent Skill. Your agent reads the strategy, rewrites the Pine code, launches runs, waits on an event stream and applies the best candidate, right in your own browser.

How the bridge works

A Chrome MV3 extension cannot listen on a TCP port, so PineTune connects out to a tiny dependency-free Node bridge bound to 127.0.0.1. Your agent talks plain HTTP to the bridge.

Quick start

  1. 1Activate a Developer licence in the PineTune popup.
  2. 2Settings: enable “Ultra Agent API”, port 5678.
  3. 3Open a TradingView chart with your strategy and the Strategy Tester.
  4. 4Run the client; it starts the loopback bridge for you if needed.

Observe

GET /events (SSE / WebSocket) streams every state change; no blind sleeping.

Security by design

  • The bridge binds to the loopback interface only, never to your LAN or the internet.
  • The first connecting extension ID is pinned after its WebSocket origin and hello ID match.
  • API responses never echo your full licence key or third-party API keys.
  • Read-only or protected Pine scripts are never edited around their restrictions.
